Hints for a Happy Marriage: 10

February 18, 2014 by weddingsar

In 2002, Carolee Emerson was one of the first brides featured in Weddings in Arkansas. Today, she has been happily married to her beau Matt for 12 years, and the couple now has two young daughters-Lauren, 8, and Allie, 4. Over the last few weeks, we have been sharing Carolee’s tips, as seen in our fall/winter issue, that have proved to be a recipe for marital bliss through the years. Here’s the last hint for a happy marriage- we hope you have enjoyed them!

10. Don’t forget to laugh! So often our lives are impossibly busy and we are consumed with the logistics of running a household, managing careers, etc. Take a break and don’t forget to have fun!

The planning of Mary Michele Michael and Todd Mazzanti’s February wedding was anything but normal; the bride had no idea what to expect! The couple left everything in the hands of Mary Michele’s family, and they were not disappointed. With elegant cakes, beautiful flowers and a menu inspired by the bride and groom’s heritages, both the wedding and reception were affairs to remember. We are sharing some extra pictures not featured in our fall/winter issue so you can continue to enjoy their wedding and reception! We were extra excited about this wedding, as the bride was our very own managing editor, Tiffany Burgess! She and her beau, Ben Adams, celebrated their big day with dancing, strawberry cake and music from The Big John Miller Band. With the backdrop of gardens during the May celebration, this wedding was absolutely beautiful. We are sharing some extra pictures not featured in our fall/winter issue so you can continue to enjoy their wedding and reception!
