Where Brides & Grooms Can Register in Arkansas

October 8, 2020 by weddingsar

The ring is on her finger, the date has been set, plans are coming together, and the parties are sure to start soon. But, before you can enjoy the fun of brunch with friends, a sweet family gathering, or a couples’ get-together, you’ll need to do one very important thing: register. Guests and well-wishers will want to know what you want and need as the big day approaches, whether it’s for a shower or a wedding gift. Here are a few local Arkansas shops where you can find everything from china to holiday décor.

TIPTON & HURST

Since 1886, Tipton & Hurst has been central Arkansas’s go-to for stunning floral design. In more recent years, they have added a number of home décor items, and now have a top-of-the-line offering of everything from flatware and china place settings to aprons and organization accessories—not to mention a ton of cute gift and holiday items. They offer the convenience of both a local store (complete with bridal registry experts who can walk you through the process) and an online component through their Wedding & Gift Registry page where you can manage your registry, and, of course, guests can shop. You’ll be able to choose from brands such as Anna Weatherley, Herend, Arte Italica, Simon Pearce, Juliska, Vietri, William Yeoward, and more. Visit their Conway, Little Rock, or Pine Bluff stores to view all the options and get your registry started.

Weddings in Arkansas: Tell us a bit about how Mountain Harbor was started and how you came to be a premier wedding venue.

Bill Barnes: Over our 65 years in business, we have become a destination not only for family vacations and personal and corporate retreats, but also special events. Through the years, we began to see more and more people gravitate to the natural beauty of our area for weddings and special occasions. As our market grew, we listened to the wants and needs of the couples and developed our venues and amenities accordingly. Many of our couples want to get married outside amongst nature, but they also want a comfortable place for their guests to enjoy their special day.  We provide this for them through our five beautiful venues and on-site accommodations.
