Hannah + Victor
Rogers // 1.22.23
Hannah Hughes had just moved from Texas to Bentonville and was navigating dating during the pandemic when she met Victor Roble through the dating app Hinge. The pair hit it off and dated for more than two years before Victor popped the question. Following a day of Hannah’s favorite things, including a trip to the Fayetteville Farmers Market and a cozy night at home, Victor gave her a jigsaw puzzle. “It was a picture of us, but Victor had the missing piece in the ring box!” Hannah says. Without hesitation, she said “yes.”
Wanting a unique venue, the pair originally considered hosting their wedding in a local bookshop. However, with a growing guest list, planner Kasarah Tyson with KDT Brides suggested a larger location—the Onyx Coffee Lab headquarters. “Choosing Onyx was a nobrainer for us. We love the vibe there, love their coffee, and love that it’s such a Northwest Arkansas-specific location,” Hannah says. The couple wanted “a fun, kind of disco-party vibe” that reflected how excited they were to be getting married. Working with Kasarah, they accomplished this with colorful blooms and a delicious, casual meal of pizza and salad followed by slices of cake decorated with the hues of the day.
Hannah and Victor enjoyed a private last dance indoors before making their exit through a tunnel of friends showering them with sparkling silver party poppers. After a honeymoon in Playa Del Carmen, they are now at home in Fayetteville.
Hannah’s disco-pearl veil from RebelleHeadss was a must-have for her wedding day. “It was love at first sight,” she says of the accessory.
Oh So Bright!
Hannah and Victor shared inspiration with their florist, The Flowerslinger, who interpreted it into a vivid, romantic bridal bouquet, a floor arrangement incorporating disco balls, and bud vases with stunning singular stems for the café tables. “They knocked it out of the park and exceeded our expectations with their creative designs and whimsy,” Hannah says.
The Robles’ Advice to Couples
“Plan some intentional time to connect with each other before and/or during the wedding day events. We grabbed a craft cocktail at Pinky Swear, a bar in the same building as our venue, as we waited for the ceremony to begin. Spending that time together allowed us to talk about the gravity and magic of the moment before seeing our wedding guests. It made us ten times more at ease and excited.”
