Real Wedding: Kynnadee and Montel

June 5, 2020 by Laura LaRue

Kynnadee + Montel
Greenbrier // March 21, 2020

Kynnadee and Montel Moore’s plans suddenly changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all just 10 days before their big day. In the end, their wedding day was full of love, which they were reminded is all that truly matters

“We learned our wedding day was just about us. I had gotten wrapped up in all the details instead of the fact that it was just about me and Montel getting married,” Kynnadee says. “God reminded me so quickly that no matter how many things changed at the last minute, no matter how many people were no longer coming, no matter how many hoops we would go through to make the day happen with the daily changing health guidelines, it would be perfect if we were both there getting married.”

The couple’s wedding planner, Miah Ramos, was extremely supportive during the days leading up to our wedding. “She was completely focused on giving us the best day ever, no matter what changes we had to make,” Kynnadee says.

“Our vendors were amazing during this hard time. Our photographer, Bailee McKay Photography, even offered to help us get back in our wedding attire after it all passed and photograph us with Montel’s family that didn’t get to come due to COVID-19 exposure,” Kynnadee adds. The bride’s gorgeous bouquet—as well as the floral collar her pup wore—were created by her mother.

It was perfect in every perfectly unplanned way.

When news of COVID-19 cases in Arkansas were announced, Justin and Emily Free, the couple’s college pastors at New Life Church, were diligent about checking in on Kynnadee and Montel to see what they needed. “They offered to bring equipment to do a live stream of our wedding for friends and family that couldn’t make it. That was so special,” Kynnadee says.

“This whole experience reminded me that people really are good. God chose this path for us and the little things I worried about for months really didn’t matter at all. I love my husband, I love my God, and I am so overly thankful for what everyone put into our wedding to make it so perfect during such a crazy time,” Kynnadee says.

Congratulations, newlyweds!
